I was working at a summer camp in Eastern Oklahoma when I had the idea to put a scissor-tail fly-catcher (the Oklahoma state bird) on a fanny pack. Immediately, I began working on a sketch of the bird and thinking of other possible design ideas and eventually that snowballed into the Prairie Threads company you see today. This company is the product of a vision, minimal effort, and mediocrity; and I am so proud to be apart of it.
